The Jawa 42 Bobber—from Jawa (or Classic Legends)—is a retro-cruiser motorcycle. It is designed as a Bobber-style spin-off. It builds on the standard Jawa 42 and Perak platforms. It targets riders who appreciate throwback styling and desire a low-slung stance combined with a comfortable riding posture.
Engine and performance
The 42 Bobber is powered by a 334cc liquid-cooled BS6 engine, producing approximately 29.9–30.6 PS and 30–32.7 Nm of torque, depending on the source and tune. It features a 6-speed manual gearbox equipped with an assist and slipper clutch, making city riding and down-shifting easier.
Design and features
Aesthetically, it adheres to the traditional Bobber formula: chopped fenders, spoked wheels, a low single-seat setup, and a round headlamp. It also features a fully digital instrument console. This includes dual-channel ABS for safety. The console displays speed, odometer readings, trip distance, a tachometer, fuel level, and a side-stand cut-off indicator.
